A Message from President Robert Richardelli
Despite the gloomy weather and grey skies, the Babylon Teachers' Association gathered to celebrate our return to school as well as our newly tenured members on September 29, 2023. Farrell's of Brooklyn hosted our celebration, and the torrential rains outside could not dampen our spirits as we toasted our colleagues' accomplishments and the return to the classroom! Newly tenured members received a custom print representing our community in addition to the congratulations offered by the staff members gathered there, it was great to see our staff come together in the spirit of camaraderie and celebration. Many thanks to our retirees for braving the storm to gather with us once again.
On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, assorted members of the Babylon Teachers Association headed to E Donald Conroy Course at Sumpwams Creek for our annual golf outing. Members enjoyed crisp weather, fall foliage, and camaraderie while raising over $2000.00 for the BTA Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Executive Board extends a heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors and especially our hosts, the Village of Babylon and Farrell's of Brooklyn.
