Message from PAPR Chair Alex Marange
Reminder! Today is Election Day, please get out and vote! While some might consider this to be an “off year” in terms of elections, that could not be farther from the truth for NYSUT members who belong the Faculty Association of Suffolk County Community College (FASCCC).
The Suffolk County Legislature elections are today. It is the County that determines the community college’s budget, and it is with whom the Faculty Association negotiates their collective bargaining agreement. Think of the county elections as you would our own school or library board races.
Attached is the list of candidates that have been endorsed by the FASCCC. They’ve earned the endorsement for having demonstrated a willingness to support Our Higher Ed Members and Our Union Values! Please help support The FASCCC as you would want them to support us!
