October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and NYSUT is participating in the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" Walk at Jones Beach, Wantagh, NY on Sunday, October 15th. Mark your calendars!

T-Shirts & Pink Fridays!
The Elementary School and Grade School have started a tradition of Pink Fridays, in which teachers wear pink on Fridays to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness. Whether or not you are participating in the Jones Beach Walk (But, you totally are, right?) you may want a t-shirt for the walk and/or for your Fridays in October. Where are my steppers at!?
Yes, we have until Spring until the Step Challenge returns, however by attending THIS event, you will automatically be entered into a BTA bonus round come Springtime.
Health, Safety, and Wellness is a year-round commitment; therefore, we must keep the steps going and finding ways to keep ourselves healthy throughout the year... and what better way to do that, than by making a positive impact on others, with others.
