Where does Vote COPE money go and how do we use it?
We lobby and effectively work with legislators in Albany. These campaigns cost money!! The Vote COPE fund is used to pay for all of this.
Additionally, we receive a refund to help us pay for BOE and School Budget Vote Campaigns!!
What was the money used for recently?
- Final Average Salary Improvement for Tier 6.
- Elimination of APPR.
- Bill establishing a maximum temperature in school buildings.
- Social Media Safety (SAFE for Kids Act, New York Child Data Protection Act).
