Did Someone Say Free T-Shirts? That’s right, the rumors are true! Please see the message below from PA/PR Rep Alexander Marange and participate in this very important program that strengthens our bargaining power at all levels.
Vote COPE Drive
This year you will receive a free T-shirt when you contribute $50 or more to the Vote COPE drive. It will run from 10/9 to 10/22 and your contribution will be deducted from the 11/1 Paycheck. If you contributed in the past using payroll deduction, your amount will be the same. Want to make a change? Notify us by 10/22.

Where does Vote COPE money go and how do we use it?
We lobby and effectively work with legislators in Albany. These campaigns cost money. The Vote COPE fund is used to pay for all of this.
What was the money used for last year?
- Final Average Salary Improvement for Tier 6.
- Elimination of APPR.
- Bill establishing a maximum temperature in school buildings.
- Social Media Safety (SAFE for Kids Act, New York Child Data Protection Act).
