Message from President, Robert Richardell

At our September 18th executive board meeting, BTA Secretary Phil Grande resigned from his position. Melissa Anderson (current HS building rep) was nominated and unanimously approved to fill the position of BTA Secretary. Phil Grande was nominated and unanimously approved to fill the position of BTA HS Building Rep. The overall result keeps the current executive board intact while at the same time allowing each of the executive board members to play to his/her strengths. They both will fill their respective positions for one year. As a French teacher, Melissa has honed her communication skill set and as a result will be an important resource for the BTA in her new position as BTA Secretary. Phil had previously been a building rep at the HS for 6 years before assuming his previous role as Secretary. Phil has proven to be a valuable resource in contract interpretation. It's a privilege to work alongside these two dedicated professionals. The entire membership benefits from having members like Melissa and Phil representing them.

I would also like to take a moment to congratulate our newly tenured members, Adam Geller and Keith Fasano. All of us here at the BTA look forward to many years of working alongside you.
