The Polar Plunge took place Saturday, November 21st at Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai. We braved the chilly waters in order to help raise money for the Special Olympics. As a team, we raised $970. The students who attended are Brandon Beierle, Olivia Schneider and Joe Conti from Babylon; and Emily O'Halloran (my daughter), Toni-Ann Pastore, and Joe Morris from West Babylon. All of us were excited to plunge and be "Freezin' for a Reason". By the way our team name is the "Chum Buckets".
